Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Detailers Ranking collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not survived.

1. Who we are

Detailers Ranking provides marketing, website and software services to auto detailing, paint protection film, window tint, ceramic coating, vinyl wrap and mobile detailing businesses. You can reach us through our contact page or at hello@detailersranking.com.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a form, request an audit, book a call or start a chat, we collect the details you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, business name and website, plus anything you write in a message.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, we automatically receive your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the referring page, the pages you view, and the time and length of your visit.

What we do not collect

We do not take payment card details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as health, biometric or financial-account data.

3. How we use it

• To respond to you and prepare the audit or proposal you asked for
• To provide and support the services you have purchased
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it
• To send you information about our services where you have asked us to, or where we are otherwise permitted to
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Cookies, analytics and chat

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site. It sets cookies that record a randomly generated identifier and the pages you view; the data is aggregated and used to improve the site, not to identify you. We also use Google Search Console, which reports aggregated search queries. Our live chat widget stores a small identifier in your browser so your conversation stays connected across messages.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies will not stop you using the site.

5. Who we share it with

We share information only with the providers who help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:

• Hosting — our web host stores the site and its data
• Analytics — Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Email, scheduling and messaging — the tools we use to reply to you, book calls and run chat
• Professional advisers — accountants or lawyers, where required

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for about two years so we can follow up and keep a record of what was discussed. Client and financial records are kept for as long as you are a client and for about seven years afterwards to meet tax and accounting requirements. Analytics data is retained for about fourteen months.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to how we use it, or to ask us to stop sending you marketing. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as the CCPA defines it.

8. Children

This site is for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page and note material changes clearly. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
